Stephanie Vardavas has loved the theater ever since her dad took her, aged 10 or so, to a production of Oklahoma! in her hometown, Baltimore. Later, in high school, she wrote her first-ever research paper on Richard Rodgers.

She now has her own law practice and teaches graduate students in the Sports Product Management program at the University of Oregon’s Portland campus. She served 21 years on the board of the Sports Lawyers Association and is now an emeritus board member.

Stephanie is a former chair of the Oregon Commission for Women, a former President of the Friends of Multnomah County Library, and a Life Member of the Jane Austen Society of North America. She holds a B.A. from Yale and a J.D. from Fordham.
