Kimberly Griffith

Kimberly Griffith is the Director of Dean of Students Development and Support for Uncommon Schools, a high performing  nonprofit organization that manages public K-12 charter schools in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York. Kimberly started her career as a Teach for America Corps member in New Orleans in 2008 and has worked in education as a teacher, consultant, founding Dean of Students, and now trains educational culture leaders around the country to provide a warm, academically exceptional and welcoming learning environment for all  students.Kimberly currently sits on the board of Deep Roots Charter School in Philadelphia. 

 

Kimberly holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Public Policy and History from Duke University with a minor in Economics. At Duke University, Kimberly was president of the Duke Women's Club Basketball Team. Kimberly is passionate about the development of young women as leaders in sports and all underrepresented industries. Kimberly currently lives in Brooklyn when she is not traveling for work or pleasure.
