Open Stage is Changing the Game

Connection
Students from all 5 NYC boroughs network with Broadway professionals, as well as their own peers and future colleagues.

Exposure
In addition to the backstage space, students tour scenic, props, and lighting shops to gain a full understanding of the pieces it takes to put a show together.

Mentorship
Each student builds a lasting relationship with a mentor that will stay with them well after their time in the Open Stage program.
A donation to Open Stage Project is an actionable way to help ensure equal representation in the entertainment community. Open Stage Project students are the future of Broadway and the faces of a more inclusive backstage space.

*Act 2 is a full year, application-only program for female high school students entering their Junior or Senior year. This group of 8-10 students attend Broadway shows with post-show talkbacks, tour scenic/props studios, and are each paired with a mentor to guide them as they pursue secondary education. The program runs September-May and is completely free for students.
