Autumn Angelettie (she/her) is a theatrical director, playwright, actor, and producer from Greater Philadelphia pursuing her BFA in Theatre Arts at Howard University. As an abolitionist, feminist theatremaker and organizer, Autumn seeks to create and produce transformative theatre in an evolving industry. Autumn has developed world premieres by NSangou Njikam (21 Strings: A Rhyme), Lady Dane Figueroa Edidi (Klytmnestra: An Epic Slam Poem), and she has been honored with experiences on and offstage at Joe’s Pub (NYC), Theater Alliance (DC), Young Playwrights’ Theatre (DC), and Broadway Green Alliance (NYC). She served as the President of the historic Howard Players, producing an afrofuturistic play festival, a hip-hop theatre original work, and an annual awards show digitally! She is eternally grateful to Open Stage Project for nurturing her budding interest in producing and management. Offstage, Autumn is an organizer for Police Free Schools, and hopes to continue to merge art and activism in future endeavors. LinkedIn.
